Ever since she was a kid, she would be busy tapping her feet to different beats. The passion stayed as she grew and she founded Piah Dance Company in 2011. A learned Bharatanatyam dancer, she is well versed in Folk, Indian Contemporary, Hiphop , Bollywood among others. Her philosophy in life is to 'follow your dreams'. She has worked in the Kannada movie industry and has undertaken massive school choreographies. She conducts dance and yoga classes in Bangalore for people of all ages. She has successfully driven the company to success and recognition. She feels the happiest when she is dancing and loves to lose herself in the world of rhythm and music. She enjoys bestowing all her love on her pup, loves ginger tea and doodles in her spare time. She wants to make Contemporary Folk extremely popular and her dream is to make the company reach international fame.

Aditi Manja

Creative Head

She joined PDC in 2013 as a choreographer and a dancer. She is now the Creative Head of the company and is responsible for ideation of designs in choreography, scripting of productions and conceptualisation. She has a diploma in Bharatanatyam. She is a graceful dancer and considers Priya as her soul sister. The life of every party, she has worked in the forms of Folk, Bollywood, Indian Contemporary among others. She believes in the adage 'live life to the fullest' and implements her cheerfulness in her performances. She enjoys blogging, reading and playing with cats. She has performed in numerous shows with the company and plans to build a long term career with the organisation.

Mahesh Rao


He is one of the main dancer and Choreographer of PDC. He began idolising Michael Jackson when he was just 6 years old. He came to know about the group from one of the dancers and has been a part of the company from almost a year. Fondly known as Thalaiva of the group he is forever imitating the legend. He is well versed in Folk, Freestyle, Bollywood and Tollywood among others. He can easily talk in 6 languages and is quite the linguist in the group. His dream is to have a full time career in dance. Having danced through school and college, he finds himself the happiest when he is performing. For him the best part of being in PDC is that they treat him like family. He considers Bandhani - PDC's first dance production , to be the biggest moment of his life. He wants to build his dance life with the company.

A brilliant student of engineering she is an active member of PDC. She is also a part of her college dance group and has won a lot of competitions. A gujju by heart and soul she is quite the sport during navaratri. She began dancing in 1st grade and the moves have never stopped till date. She has been a part of all the major performances and event of PDC. She loves reading and cooking. She enjoys making cards on special occasions for her friends. Her philosophy is always better herself everyday at whatever she does. She feels she can never imagine not dancing and hopes to continue being a part of PDC in the future.

Jose Dominic


Jose is one of the main photographers of PDC. A student of graphic design, he began photography as a hobby in 2011. It has grown to become his passion now and he plans to build photography as a full time career along with a parallel in graphic designing. He derives happiness in photographing talent and has found a platform to exhibit his skills through our company. For him PDC is a constant part of his weekend and he is always there clicking pictures of our rehearsals. A good poet, he is working on publishing a book of poems. His motto is to 'live life as it comes' and though he has tried to shake a leg, he is very happy being on the other side and capturing the moments of the art.
